The bright lights of London await 16-year-old dancer Bradley Walmsley after seeing off competition in its thousands to bag a place at the Central School of Ballet.
The Timestep School of Dance teacher will move to London in September to start his three year degree in Professional Dance and Performance.
Mum Rachel Walmsley, who is principal of Timestep, said: “I am an extremely proud mum and dance teacher – the hard work has definitely paid off!
“He has inspired many Timestep pupils to pursue their dream and to never give up.
“Family, friends and everyone at Timestep are thrilled for him. They have supported him every step of the way, especially his grandmother Marie and two brothers Luke and Elliot.”
In his third year he will go on tour throughout the UK with the ballet company. Timestep School of Dance is based in Smithies Lane, Heckmondwike.
