Also on offer will be the children’s races, which take place on show day, whilst a children’s craft day will be taking place a week before.
Other attractions include an expanded Baby Show, with three age categories, the Horse and Pony Show, the Fun Dog Show.
Keen gardeners can prepare for the Flower and Vegetable classes which have been part of the Mirfield show for over 50 years.
Closing this year’s Mirfield Show will be the tug of war.
Louise Hardy, head of competitions and classes, said: “We are really excited to reveal the competitions and classes for this year’s show.
“Online registration is now open and we encourage everyone to register their entries early to save time on show day. We’re hoping for a bumper year of entries.”
