Classic car rally revs up Bank Holiday

Dozens of vintage vehicles were displayed in Dewsbury over the bank holiday.

A classic car and bus show took place at Crow Nest Park on Monday, with more than 130 motors on show.

It was run by the Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club and Dewsbury Bus Museum, which restores buses at its Ravensthorpe base. There were also a number of motorcycles on display amongst the classic cars and vintage buses.

Prizes were given out by Emmerdale actor Nick Miles and there was also a book stall, plant sale, tombola and raffle.

The Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club meets in Horbury and will have its next event at Crow Nest Park in October.
