Clubs get ready to light up the sky this Bonfire Night

With the winter nights drawing in, it’s time to get out the toffee apples and sparklers and remember, remember Guy Fawkes night.

But if you’re wondering where to go this Bonfire Night, then Soothill WMC is inviting all the family to their fun-filled evening.

The club will be holding a Bonfire Night special on Saturday November 7 and everyone is are being invited to join in the family fun.

The free event will see the bonfire being lit at 7pm with a firework display lighting up the air at 8pm.

There will be winter foods on sale, such as pork pies and jacket potatoes with winter fillings.

There will also be music with the Simon Walker Band at 9pm.

Mirfield Bonfire and Fireworks Extravaganza will be making a return on Saturday November 7 at Mirfield Cricket Club, Huddersfield Road, from 5.30pm-10.30pm.

And at Hartshead Moor Cricket Club in Cleckheaton there will be a bonfire, fireworks display, hot pie and peas and burgers for everyone from 6pm on November 7. Admission to the event is free for all.
