Competing in the women's 10m diving final, the 18-year-old's repertoire included an impressive score of 81.60 for her inward 3-1/2, which was not quite enough to topple Aussie home favourite Melissa Wu, who topped the podium with a score of 360.40.

Silver went the way of Meaghan Benfeito of Canada, whose total of 359.75 included an 84.80 for her armstand back double somersault with 1-1/2 twists.
