Councillors to vote on Mirfield 25 request
Park Crescent was given planning permission in October 2009 to develop the Mirfield 25 site off Leeds Road.
Permission was granted on the basis that work would start on a retirement home, business and industrial units there within three years.

Members of Kirklees Council’s Heavy Woollen planning sub-committee will be asked to vote on the decision next Thursday.
Officers have recommended that councillors offer ‘outline approval’ to the request, while also referring the decision to the Highways and Planning Committee.
Huddersfield-based David Brown got planning permission more than a year ago to build a centre of excellence for gear manufacture and a wind innovation centre on the site.
The plans submitted by Park Crescent for Mirfield 25 were vigorously opposed by campaigners fighting to protect green belt land in Mirfield.
