Police: Cannabis farm discovered in Liversedge

A cannabis farm has been discovered in Liversedge by West Yorkshire Police.

Officers from Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team attended an address in the area yesterday (Tuesday) and discovered a cannabis farm had been operating within.

On the West Yorkshire Police - Batley and Spen Facebook site, the police states:

"In order to grow these plants, the suspects have dangerously bypassed the electricity metres.

"In doing so, they have put themselves and the community at risk by tampering with live mains."
