Delivery driver is thrown out of his van by thief
A man pulled a delivery driver out of his van and drove off with it in the middle of the day.
A 38-year-old man was sat in the driver’s seat of the van when a man approached, dragged him out, and drove off in the direction of Asda.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
The offence happened 2.25pm-2.45pm on Tuesday October 21 in Mill Street East, Savile Town.
The van was a white Renault Master.
Det Con Cath Lowdon said: “We would urge anyone who either witnessed the robbery itself or who believes they may have information about the van’s movements to call Kirklees CID on 101. “
