Dewsbury Arts Group will kick of the festive season with an adaptation of Lewis Carol’s Alice in Wonderland.
Local playwright David Foxton has adapted Lewis Carol’s Adventures of Alice In Wonderland into a hugely entertaining play – Alice. All the well-loved characters from Alice in Wonderland are featured in the production, including the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the Dormouse and, of course, the loud and domineering Queen of Hearts.
As in previous years there will be plenty of audience participation and laughs galore.
The show, which opens at Dewsbury Artspace in Lower Peel Street on Saturday, is the ideal way to start off the festive season.
Its runs from Saturday November 22 until Saturday November 29 with performances at 7.15pm, and Saturday matinees at 2pm. There will be no performance on Sunday November 23.
Tickets are £9 each and include a souvenir programme.
