Dewsbury firms recruits new apprentices
Furniture manufacturer Jay-be has announced it is recruiting new apprentices to work at its Dewsbury site.
The four successful candidates will work in the upholstery, manufacturing or administration departments while undertaking an advanced apprenticeship programme supervised by Morley training provider Springfield.
The Yorkshire-based firm has an international reputation for creaing innovative and desirable furniture and is committed to giving young people the chance to develop their careers.
Operations manager Dave Hampton, pictured, said:-
“We are delighted to be offering these opportunities to local young people looking for a career in manufacturing. Our new apprenticeship programme will make an important contribution to our growth strategy and will help to dispel common myths about the obstacles to seeking a career in manufacturing.
“We have experienced many changes to our market and products over the years, but our passion for continuous innovation and UK manufacturing is always at the heart of what we do. We are really excited about bringing young people into the company and developing their skills through the apprenticeship programme”.
