Audiences will be transported to a world of beautiful heroines, evil queens, useless henchmen and magical mirrors with a church group’s latest production.
For more than 60 years members of St Mary’s Parish Church have been entertaining the people of Mirfield with their fun-filled family shows.
And tomorrow (Wednesday) the curtain goes up the latest – Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
Snow White, helped by her eager team of friends, will be facing her evil nemesis, Queen Caligula, and her incompetent team of aides.
As good battles evil, the age old tale will be brought to life by a cast of enthusiastic performers in their own inimitable way.
The show will be staged the community centre at St Mary’s Church, Church Lane, Mirfield, from tomorrow until Saturday.
Performances take place nightly at 7.15pm until Friday, with two shows on Saturday.
Seats are still available for the performances tomorrow night, Thursday night and on Saturday at 5.30pm.
Tickets cost £6 for adults (concessions £4) and all tickets are £4 for opening night.
