hidden photographic talents were brought into focus at an exhibition this week.
The display, called Altered Images, was hosted by the West Yorkshire Print Workshop, in Huddersfield Road, Mirfield on Wednesday and yesterday.
A photographic collage showcased work by clients of the charity Stonham, which works to help disadvantaged people find housing and assists them with finances, education, health and life skills.
Stonham service manager Claire Blacka said: “All the photos were taken by people who have used our services and many of them were of these same people.
“It’s part of our Inspire programme, which provides arts experiences for our clients, many of whom have not had the opportunity before.
“People have discovered they have talents that have never been used – and some have gone on to lead workshops teaching others.
“Creating this work was an emotional experience for some clients, who had never previously had their photo taken in a positive way.
“I’m very proud of them all.”
