The death of a man whose remains were found in Cleckheaton last week is not thought to be suspicious, police have said.
The remains were found on land off Scholes Lane last Wednesday afternoon.
A forensic post mortem has established that the body belonged to a man aged between 30 and 50 years old, though officers are still trying to determine the exact identity of the deceased.
Detective Inspector Mark Truelove, from Kirklees District CID, said: “As a result of the post mortem we do not believe the death was suspicious but further tests will now be undertaken to establish an identity.”
