Many people resolve to get in shape in the new year – and a Batley Carr group could help you to do just that.
Stephanie Cooper’s keep fit class for the over 50s combines dance and simple aerobics to help people stay active as they get older.
Stephanie said: “It’s just a lovely, friendly group. People always chat to each other.”
Tailored to aid mobility and help with ailments such as arthritis and joint problems, the low impact classes are perfect for those who want to boost their fitness but like to take it at their own pace.
With a wide range of music, including ballroom, Zumba and rap, and props such as balls, scarves and weights, the weekly sessions promise fun as well as a good workout.
Classes are held on Mondays 7.30pm to 8.30pm at the Trinity Centre, Upper Road, Batley Carr.
