A SUCCESSFUL Mirfield-born entrepreneur inspired pupils when he returned to his old school to give them top tips in business.
Richard Reed, formerly of Upper Hopton, who co-founded Innocent Drinks, was invited as guest speaker at Batley Grammar’s speech day.
Innocent smoothies can be found on all supermarket shelves, and the company was recently voted 16th in the Sunday Times top 100 small companies.
Richard, who is just 33, is one of the country’s most dynamic young businessmen and has regular meetings with people like Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.
Richard told pupils he started money-making schemes while he was at school, such as gardening services and playing in a band.
