Last chance to nominate your Salon of the Year 2014

Looking good makes us feel good inside as well as outside.

Looking good is mood-lifting and can be life-changing, especially if you’re trying to make an impression on a first date or you’re at an all-important job interview.

Finding a salon you can trust is crucial. A great salon is somewhere you can feel comfortable enough to literally put your hair, face or body into somebody else’s hands, and let them work their magic.

It’s somewhere you can be transformed from average to amazing.

Now we need YOU to help us find the top hairdressing and/or beauty salon in our area. Somewhere that’s a cut above the rest and doesn’t take you at face value.

Your favourite salon might provide the best blow-dries, the perfect haircuts, the neatest threading, the hottest self-tans, the most relaxing massages, fantastic facials or the most glamorous nails.

Whether it’s the way they colour your hair, the extra little touches, or the friendly welcome you always receive, we want to hear from you!

We’ll accept nominations for any local salon or barbers offering hair and/or beauty treatments (independent businesses or franchises).

To nominate your favourite for the award, simply post a coupon, send us a text, or email us.

The salons with the most nominations will be added to a final shortlist.

Readers will then be invited to vote for a winner.

The winning salon will be crowned the Reporter Series Salon of the Year 2014 later this year.

Nominations need to be submitted before Tuesday October 14 2014.

NOMINATE BY POST

Simply complete the coupon and post it to: The Reporter Series, Promotions Team, 26 Whitehall Road, Leeds, LS12 1BE

All nomination coupons must be received by (or before) first post on Tuesday October 14.

You must use an official nomination coupon (from the paper).

Photocopied or defaced coupons will not be accepted.

NOMINATE BY TEXT

Text your nomination before 9am on Tuesday October 14 to 65550.

Simply start your text with the words: DRSSALON followed by another space, then the name and address of your favourite salon. Follow this with your name, your address (including postcode) and your email address (if you have one).

Text messages cost 50p plus your standard network charge and should contain no more than 160 characters.

Please note: you will receive a reply-message to confirm receipt of your nomination.

Your text message must follow the exact format stated, otherwise your nomination may not be counted but you may still be charged. If you text after the stated closing date your nomination will not be counted but you may still be charged.

NOMINATE BY EMAIL

Email the name and address of your favourite salon to [email protected] before noon on Tuesday October 14.

Please include your own name, address, and phone number.

You must write “Reporter Series Salon Nomination 2014” in your email’s subject line.
