Launch of studio to raise charity funds

A Liversedge photographer is combining the launch of a new expansion with fundraising to help research into cancer.

Due to continued success, Dawn Robinson Photography is moving to a bigger studio space within the Victoria Spring Business Park in Liversedge.

The larger studio space has opened up endless possibilities for portrait photography including a dedicated area with fun, colourful backdrops for baby and tots shots, a large space which can cater for large group portraits and a comfortable viewing area to look at finished work.

The new facilities are also wheelchair-friendly and parking is available.

The official launch of the new studio takes place on Tuesday, June 14 (2-7pm) with people invited to come along.

Dawn said: “This expansion enables us to cater for any requests from a large family shoot to a new born baby.

“The launch event is a platform for customers new and old to see the facilities and experience some of the new innovations we’re introducing to our services.”

As part of the event, money will be raised for the Leeds Cancer Centre in memory of Karen Biricz, who unfortunately passed away earlier in the year.

Karen and her family visited the studio last year for family portraits.

Dawn added: “Karen was such a lively and lovely lady who was an inspirational to all. Throughout her battle she was always smiling.”
