Ramsdens, which has branches in Dewsbury and Mirfield, is hosting a Make A Will Week in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care.

From Monday May 20 to Friday May 24, solicitors will write a simple single will for £100, plus VAT, or a simple mirror will for £150, plus VAT.

Customers will then be asked to donate half of the fees to Macmillan.

The charity’s fundraising manager for Wakefield and district, Maria Amos, said: “We are extremely grateful to Ramsdens for supporting Macmillan through this initiative.

“Whether people choose to donate now, in their wills or both, their support is vital to ensuring that more services will be available to future generations of people affected by cancer across the WF district.”

Around a third of Macmillan’s funding comes from donations left in wills.
