A wedding fair with a difference has been planned for future brides and grooms in Morley.
The Yorkshire Bridal Shop-organised event will focus on affordable, unique, vintage and locally-based suppliers - and it’s all for charity.
The fair will take place at the store on Albert Drive, Morley, from 11am-2pm on Sunday August 9. All profits will go to local charity Candle Lighters.
The event has an English tea party theme, including a showcase for Brighton Belle’s tea-length dress collection. A catwalk show starts at 12pm.
There are also a number of local exhibitors, most of them based in Morley and supplying products such as cakes and flowers.
“We have created an event that specialises in bringing to life the very best of Morley’s local wedding suppliers and our own alternative styles of bridalwear are available for those individuals who want the best day of their lives to be affordable but still luxury,” said Kittie Jackson from the Yorkshire Bridal Shop.
“Luxury doesn’t mean expensive! We have aimed to identify local businesses that provide the very best in luxury wedding goods and services, and have made them accessible for those seeking either a traditional, modern or vintage wedding ceremony.”
The free event includes a charity raffle. There is still space available for more trade stands to exhibit - contact the shop on 01132 529711 if you’re interested in taking part.
