Accidents will happen

SO we know now when Mirfield will have its ’C’ Day.

Yes, I can see no way of avoiding traffic chaos at this already busy junction, even with a moderate number of vehicles entering and leaving Tesco’s new express store. Nor can I see a way of preventing a number of those leaving, incorrectly, turning right.

Police and ambulance should stand-by. Perhaps we could ask for a CCTV camera to be set up at this junction in advance and ask Tesco to cover the expense?

This is in no way, wishful thinking. It has been my view from the start that, on the grounds of road safety alone, this development should have been refused in any form.
