Action needed on former funeral parlour
The former Co-op funeral parlour in the centre of Dewsbury, now derelict, is an eyesore, a disgrace and does nothing to enhance the tired appearance of the town centre.
The scruffy fascia is the one which I worked on as a Co-op joiner in 1957 at which time it was converted into the fancy goods shop, pre-funeral parlour. Whoever the present owner may be, remedial action is long overdue.
