Praise for man who gave so much time

The Dewsbury Cemetery Action Group was saddened to learn of the recent death of Thomas Wightman.

Thomas was an active committee member. He gave his time to tending the graves of those members of the public who were unable to visit the cemetery or attend to the graves of their loved ones.

On their behalf and if requested, Thomas would place plants and flowers on the graves as and when required.

Many were grateful for the care and attention given by Thomas to their wishes. He will be greatly missed.

We, the Action Group members mourn his passing and extend our sympathy to his family and friends.
