Wonderful memories

It brought back lovely memories of my childhood. The photos are perfect. The one of Vulcan Road was my corner sweetshop, Wilfred Peace’s. My mam used to take me to Earlsheaton and Boat Sams. We used to go bluebelling up Thornhill. Your sheep’s head broth and nettle broth reminded me of my aunt Maggie. Shaw Cross was where my Aunt Sarah lived. Last of all thanks for putting in Smithy Brook Lane.

I am going to buy another book now to send to our friend Peter Bishop in Mexico. He loved your page about Thornhill you printed in summer.
