On May 30, at around 6.35pm, a property on Carlinghow Hill, in Batley was broken into.

The suspects (pictured in the photos) forced open the rear doors of the house but were disturbed by the occupants returning home.

They fled the property empty handed.

PC Rachel Jenkinson, of Kirklees CID, said: “I am appealing to members of the public to come forward if they recognise any of the people in these images or have any information about this incident.

“Due to the close proximity of the location of the incident to major arterial routes it is possible the offenders are not local, and may have travelled out of the area.

“Anyone with any information or saw anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact myself via 101 quoting reference 13160231125.”

Information can be given to Kirkless CID via 101 or to the independent anonymous crimefighting charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
