Mick started playing at Shaw Cross Boys and made history when he moved from Hudderfield to Wigan for a record £9,500 fee in 1957, before playing for St Helens and later in Australia. He was player-coach at Dewsbury and took them to a Challenge Cup semi-final. He jointly holds the record for the most Great Britain caps with 46.

Pub manager Andy Krzyszczyk said: “Mick is a true legend of the game and we wanted to do something to recognise that. The raffle has snowballed and we have some great prizes.”

The raffle will be drawn on November 30 and tickets are on sale now. Sully’s Brew by Moorhouse Brewery is on sale now.
