Robbers drag man outside pub, punch him and snatch his Iphone on ‘Mad Friday’

Thugs dragged a man outside a pub, punched him and fled with his cash and Iphone.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the robbery which took place at the Time Piece pub in Dewsbury between 6.15pm and 6.45pm on Friday, December 18.

A man approached the 22-year-old victim, of Dewsbury, from behind while he was at the bar and assaulted him.

He fell to the ground and was then dragged out of the pub by the man attacker and an accomplice.

Once outside the victim was punched by the two men and another male. They then stole the cash and an Iphone 4S from the him before making off.

One of the suspects was described as white, 5ft 10in in height and of a slim build with black hair.

DC Andy Clayton of Huddersfield CID said: “Enquiries are continuing into this incident and we would like to speak to anyone who saw the assault in the pub, the assault outside or anyone who has information about the suspects.
