Safety first at Rixonway

Rixonway Kitchens, who supply affordable and social housing, won two Gold Awards from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

Rixonway was praised for its committment to improvement in accident and ill-health prevention.

Operations director Nick Greenall said: “We are delighted to have won a RoSPA Award for the fourth year running.

“Health and safety is top of our agenda at Rixonway Kitchens, and we’re happy that our efforts continue to be recognised.

“We constantly monitor and update our rigorous processes to ensure our standards remain some of the highest in the industry.”

The accolades came as the company bagged new contracts worth more than £7 million and announced plans to expand its workforce.

Rixonway is increasing its kitchen design/survey team from 43 to 53 and will invest £350,000 in a third automated production line as a result of the deals, which will see the manufacturer supply 125,000 kitchen units for social housing organisations in London and the South East over the next three years. A total of 16,000 properties will be fitted with new kitchens.
