Santa Claus helped put a smile on youngsters’ faces when he dropped in to Mirfield Children’s Centre.
More than 100 under-fives were treated to Christmas party by charity Action for Children last Wednesday.
As well as receiving gifts from Santa, the children played with magic snow, learnt about polar animals and took part in Christmas crafts like metallic finger painting and making cards and calendars.
Gillian Haigh, service manager at Action for Children, said: “The children were so excited about meeting Santa and were thrilled to receive a gift. For some children this was their first experience of Christmas and it was a great day for all of the families involved.”
