SUPER fast broadband is coming to Mirfield.
Internet and phone provider BT is bringing top speed services to market towns as part of its £2.5bn fibre broadband rollout and Mirfield is one of the first to benefit.
Most premises will be able to access the new service, but some may not initially be able to benefit when the service is rolled out in spring 2012.
However BT’s internet company, Openreach, is willing to speak to councillors to reach a solution for these people.
John Anderson, BT’s regional director for Yorkshire and the Humber, said: “People in these communities will soon be able to experience the internet as they’ve never seen it before.”
