Around 15-20 members of the Al-Khair Foundation paced from Lightwaves Leisure Centre in Wakefield through Dewsbury and finished in Huddersfield on Monday, May 30.

Cash donated towards the three miles per hour walk is going towards refugees staying at a camp on the border between Greece and Macedonia border, which feeds 10,000 people daily.

Organiser Alam Ghafoor said: “It was very, very well received. We had a great response and we were fortunate that the weather was good.”
