Tell us about your marathon run

This year’s London Marathon takes place on Saturday and the 26 miles run around the river Thames is the 35th in its history.

Idris Mansoor is just one of dozens from Dewsbury who will lace up their running shoes for the event this weekend.

Mr Mansoor is raising money for charity VICTA, which helps visually-impaired children and their families.

He is running the race for the second time.

An event last month at Dewsbury Sports Centre raised £1,000 for the charity.

Around 30 members of the centre cycled non-stop for three hours to raise the cash.
