Three arrested in relation to drugs offences

Three men were arrested after a police drugs operation in Batley.

West Yorkshire Police’s Operation Quartz team conducted an operation on Tuesday afternoon (August 9) in the Batley area following concerns from members of the public in relation to drug related activity. 

A black VW Golf was seen around Warehouse Street acting suspiciously and following a search, police arrested of three men aged 19, 21 and 22 from the area.  

A quantity of Class A and B drugs, numerous mobile phones and a substantial quantity of cash were seized.  

The three men remain on bail pending further investigations.
