Woman knocked down outside Asda
A woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a car outside Asda last night.
She was knocked down by a Ford at around 7pm, at the junction of Mill Street West and Savile Road.
The ambulance and police attended and part of the road was blocked off until 8.20pm.
The woman’s injuries are not understood to be serious, a police spokesman said.
