Your Reporter helps find our life-saver
Jordanne Kilburn appealed to Reporter readers last week to find the man who saved her daughter Millie, seven, from choking on bonfire night at the Ship Inn, Mirfield.
Millie’s secret guardian angel was father-of-two Lee Greenwood, of Chapel Street, Cleckheaton, who had no idea she wanted to meet him - but luckily his wife Hayley spotted the story.

Mrs Greenwood said: “He is master of the understated - he’s very shy.”
Millie’s mum Ms Kilburn said: “Words cannot express how amazing Lee’s actions were. Millie’s dad Dean and I count our lucky stars he was there.”
Ship Inn manager Ian Palmer offered Lee and family a free meal for his bravery. He said: “If it wasn’t for him the situation could have been disastrous.”
