British Army play curtain raiser to Dewsbury Rams v Halifax

After playing in a game of touch rugby, members of the Army will watch the Rams v Halifax match in an executive box, while enjoying hospitality from the club, courtesy of sponsors Show and Events Security Northern Limited.

The Rams have strong links with the British Army and have already visited one of their training camps in Weymouth for a pre-season bonding session and the Army has put on displays and other activities at the club over the years.

Richard McElroy, sales and operations manager at Show and Events Northern said: “We are very proud of our armed forces and the work that they do and we are delighted to be able to work with the Dewsbury Rams to provide the British Army with this support and we hope that they enjoy the corporate hospitality and the day as much as we do when we visit the club.”
