Celtic duo named in RLC team of the year

DEWSBURY Celtic duo Alex Walmsley and Eddie Kilroy have been named Co-operative Rugby League Conference National dream team.

It caps a terrific year for Walmsley after he was named RLC player of the year at the Co-operative Championships awards ceremony in Manchester a fortnight ago.

The RLC is set to cease in its current form as they will integrate into the new third summer tier (behind the Championship and Championship One) for next season.
