Yorkshire Diamonds to stage popular roadshow
The Yorkshire Diamonds Ladies cricket team will be staging one of their roadshows at Hanging Heaton CC on Monday.
The event is free and open to anyone from the age of five to 16 year old and runs from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Leg spinner Katie Levick, who has taken over 100 wickets for the Yorkshire women’s team, is one of the players confirmed attending and it promises to be a fun packed evening and an ideal way of introducing girls to cricket.
Yorkshire Diamonds are staging 10 roadshows across the county but Monday’s event is the only one being staged in North Kirklees.
