Recent signings Marcus Antonsson and Kyle Bartley are both included along with several promising youngsters, including 17-year-old midfielder Ronaldo Vieira and striker Eoghan Stokes, although winger Stuart Dallas misses out as he has been given time to get over his exertions with Northern Ireland in Euro 2016.

During their trip to Ireland the Whites will play friendlies against Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers, but the trip has the aim of valuable team bonding and giving new boss Garry Monk time to assess the players he has.
