Hopton Mills ready to grace top flight
Hopton have spent the winter demolishing their old changing rooms and replacing them with an impressive new building.
It could hardly be a bigger game for Hopton’s first game in the top flight as Jack Hampshire Trophy winners Methley provide their first opponents.

Hide AdScholes won promotion to the Premier along with Hopton and they begin their final season in the Central Yorkshire League with a trip to Mirfield Parish Cavaliers.
Scholes will switch to the Bradford League next season and will be led by former Hanging Heaton player James Stansfield this season.
Birstall kick off the season with two away games this weekend as they travel to Hunslet Nelson in the Premier Division and then visit Shepley in the Heavy Woollen Cup first round, when Parish host Buttershaw St Paul’s.
Batley start at home to Northowram Fields in Division One when Liversedge host Wakefield St Michael’s before travelling to Golcar in the Heavy Woollen.
