MOORLANDS and Ossett are gearing up for crunch games as the race for the Central Yorkshire League Division One title heads towards a thrilling finale.
With two matches remaining, leaders Moorlands are just two points ahead of Ossett.
Both face games against sides in the lower reaches of the table tomorrow (noon) as Moorlands travel to third-bottom East Ardsley, while Ossett entertain relegated Methley A.
Moorlands are leaving for the Huddersfield League at the end of the season but victory for Ossett, or defeat for third-placed Wakefield St Michaels away to Hopton Mills, will see the Queens Terrace side promoted to the Premier.
Mirfield also face an exciting end to their campaign as they look to break into the top-two in Division Two.
Mirfield’s penultimate game is at home to Buttershaw St Pauls A, while they travel to leaders Ossett A on September 22.
