Rams planning summer camp sessions

Dewsbury Rams have confirmed the details of their upcoming summer coaching camps which are being held at Tetley’s Stadium.

The camp will run between Tuesday, August 4 and Friday, August 7 beginning at 10am each day and finishing at 3pm.

The cost for the camp will be £40.

Those attending will be invited to take part in rugby, rounders, cricket, hockey and football tennis on the pitch of the Rams.

Assistant coach Damian Gibson said: “These camps have proven very popular over the last couple of years and I’m sure this year’s camps will be equally well attended.

“I’m looking forward to welcoming kids back from previous sessions as well as new faces.

“We always strive to create an enjoyable and worthwhile environment for kids of all abilities and levels of experience and hopefully the kids will find it interesting to try a new sport.”

There is an extra incentive for young season ticket holders as they will receive a point towards a voucher to spend in the club shop each day that they attend the camp.

There will also be an official certificate of attendance handed out to everyone that attends.

Children should bring their own packed lunch while a change of clothes is not essential but is recommended in bad weather, football and rugby boots are optional.

Parents are asked to pick up and drop off children at the reception at the back of the North Stand.
