Rams suffer agonising defeat
Dewsbury Rams suffered an agonising defeat to Co-operative Championship relegation rivals York City Knights at Tetley’s Stadium last Sunday.
The Rams led 28-24 going into injury time, when York winger Dave Sutton crossed for a try in the corner to level matters and Chris Thorman landed the touchline conversion to snatch a dramatic victory for the visitors.
Scott Turner scored a hat-trick of tries for the Rams, while Pat Walker and Andy Smith were the other scorers.
Domninic Brambani (three) and Walker landed goals.
