R Hirons made 63 not out as Upperthong reached 208-5, despite Andy Pickett’s 2-42.

Muhammad Hashmi (25) top scored in reply but Heckmondwike were bowled out for 76 and will aim to bounce back at home to Birchencliffe B in Section C on Saturday.

n Rizwan Dar smashed a magnificent 111 as Fox’s Biscuits posted 251-5 against Ajmal in Dewsbury District League Section A last Sunday.

Abdul Ghafar (60) and Kamal Ahmed Dar (57) supported Rizwan’s super knock.

Ajmal Hussain fell agonisingly one run short of a century in Ajmal’s reply as they were bowled out for 184 with Banares Saddique claiming 3-32.
