Record tumble at Hanging Heaton
THERE was a record breaking game between Hanging Heaton and Gomersal in Bradford League Division One last Saturday.
Heaton racked up a mammoth 378-6 - the highest total made by any side at their Bennett Lane ground - before Gomersal posted 322-8 in reply.
It was the first time in Bradford League history that 700 runs were scored in a match, while the game produced four centurions, another record equalling feat.
