Thornhill hit back in the last quarter of the game with tries from Adam Hoyle (two) and Richard Walker plus two conversions from Craig Holmes to make it 16-16 and force extra-time.

Hide AdIn a tense period, the Sharks took the early advantage with a drop goal from Glynn while shortly after Thornhill seemed to have the game wrapped up after full-back Holmes slotted over a penalty for offside.
The drama continued when Cross were awarded a penalty for a high tackle with moments left and Glynn converted to see them snatch victory.
n Next Friday (May 25) sees the return of the senior touch league, for over 33s, sponsored by HB Clark Brewery.
Staincliffe are keen to retain their title. But Butchers Arms, Batley Boys, Dewsbury Celtic, Dewsbury Moor, Drighilington, Shaw Cross, Staincliffe and Thornhill will be challenging.
