Trojans swoop to capture Haigh ahead of home clash
Haigh played at Thornhill until 2006 when he signed for Dewsbury Rams following a string of displays which saw the Trojans progress to the Challenge Cup third round, and a tie at Catalan Dragons, and reach the National Conference League Grand Final.
Haigh was released by Hunslet Hawks this week and will make his second debut for the Trojans against Hunslet Old Boys on Saturday (ko 2.30pm).

Hide Adn Wyke grabbed a share of the spoils with a late try in their Division One derby with Odsal Sedburgh.
The sides were locked 12-12 at half-time after Warren Pitman bagged a brace of tries for Wyke, both converted by Andrew Patchett.
Simon Owen sent Paul Farnell over only for Odsal to hit back to lead 24-16.
Patchett ended a fine move with a converted try but again Odsal struck to lead 28-22.
Ian Watkinson’s teasing grubber kick struck a post and rebounded for Aaron Priestley to score and Patchett’s goal saw honours end all square.
