Wembley dream still alive
The team had to progress through the Kirklees league to get into the Yorkshire Cup where they defetaed teams from Bradford and Leeds to get to the later stages.
By making it to the Yorkshire semi-final, Earlsheaton qualified for the last 16 of the National draw, which culminates in a final at Wembley as a curtain raiser to the Challenge Cup final in August.

On the day of the semi-final, the community section at Earlsheaton provied the team with a healthy breakfast, when they were joined by Rams player Nick Fozzard and community coach James Stephenson.
