Wyke secure funding to improve club facilities
The club have been looking at ways to improve facilities at Wyke Park for a number of years but after talks with the Rugby Football League and Sport England, they have managed to secure funding of £100,000.
Wyke plan to install a modular building on Wyke Park, which would have new and modern changing, toilet and catering facilities.

Wyke chairman Jason Whomack said: “Obviously there is a significant shortfall in the money required but the club are actively looking to address this and we are in the process of submitting several applications to local and national funding bodies to make up the extra money required.
“The club are also asking for support from anyone who would be willing to invest money or donate something that would help the club generate this money.”
The club run two senior teams, who are currently in pre-season training ahead of the new Pennine League campaign.
